Our faculty and guest artists often present special workshops to enhance your musical study. There are sessions for those with and without music experience. Workshops are added throughout the year, check often for the latest offerings.
You do not need to be a WCMS student to participate in our workshops.
Mock Audition Workshop for MMEA Jr. District Festival

For middle school students and 9th graders (instrumentalists and vocalists) who are trying out for the MMEA Junior District Music Festival. Presented by various WCMS Faculty and special guest clinician,
Carola Emrich-Fisher.
- Experience the audition process in a supportive environment.
- Play your required solo and scales to receive valuable feedback and helpful suggestions from WCMS faculty and your peers.
- The Workshop will cover presentation issues, expectations from the adjudicators, relaxation suggestions, and tips on audition strategies.
Cost: $25 per participant, pre-registration required no later than January 9.
