• Jazzy "Snow Queen"! Sunday, January 08, 2:00 PM: Concert for Kids! Join us at the Next Door Center for the Arts for a very special children's concert featuring jazz music set to the story of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen." A jazz quartet of WCMS faculty will perform the music and the story  will be narrated by actors from Kidstock!  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Tickets:  $5 per person general admission. • Harmonica & Blues teacher, Tim Gartland released a new solo album in September, "Looking into the Sun."  Tim was recently interviewed in the Winchester Star - check out the full article.   Tim's CD release party is Wednesday, September 19 at Johnny D's.
• Violin faculty member Annegret Klaua and Early Childhood faculty member and pianist Yukiko Shimazki will perform on the Greater Boston House Concert Series on Saturday, October 1.  The concert is an evening of folk and dance-inspired violin and piano music and includes music by Prokofiev, Jancek, Wieniawski, Mozart, Bolcom, and Piazzolla.  Tickets are $15 and RSVP
