Per semester (15 one-hour classes): $375.00, 10% discount for WCMS
private lesson students.
Monday 7-8 p.m.
The final class of each semester consists of a warm-up rehearsal and performance.

Have you ever wanted to join a blues band? Here's your chance to do just that. You will meet other musicians who share the love of the blues and learn the art and skills it takes to play in a band. You will be provided with first rate rehearsal space and a 15-week rehearsal schedule culminating with a performance at the end of the course. The course includes individual coaching and education on the history of the blues as well. The ensemble is guided by well-known veteran of the New England blues scene, singer, songwriter, and harmonica player Tim Gartland.
Placement Requirement: The class is designed for intermediate level musicians. No audition required, simply register prior to the first class.

Whether you are considering this class, or currently enrolled, take advantage of a growing "Play-along" tracks collection of well known blues standards by playing along with different instruments of the combo. It's great playing live with this group, and even better now that you can work on tunes beyond the classroom.
