SUMMARY:Lunchtime Faculty Concert: "Sentimental Journey"
DESCRIPTION:This first-of-its-kind WCMS faculty concert will bring the audience on a Sentimental Journey across generations of jazz\, Broadway and popular music. \nMusic therapist and singer Shayla McDermott will weave in stories from her work as a music therapist with older adults. She will be joined by her partner and esteemed jazz pianist\, Jonathan Fagan\, along with Max Ridley on bass and Austin McMahon on drums. \nFree admission—all are welcome. A suggested $20 donation supports our concerts and performers. Presented live in Nichols Performance Hall at WCMS and also streamed live on our YouTube channel.

Experience the soulful rhythms that inspired the Bossa Nova\, along with captivating original compositions. \nFeaturing: \n\nWCMS faculty member Maurice Cahen\, guitar\nRicardo Frota\, violin &  percussion\nAndrea Pejrolo\, bass\n\nFree admission—all are welcome. Please consider bringing a new or gently used children’s clothing item to donate to Cradles to Crayons’ “Gear Up for Winter” drive. A donation box will be in the WCMS lobby December 1–14. \nHeld live in Nichols Performance Hall at WCMS and streamed live on our YouTube channel. \n
