Players will be curated by the clarinet faculty\, but all clarinet students ages 12+ are welcome to attend and observe. \nClarinetist Rane Moore is sought after as both a performer and an educator. Currently she is on faculty at the Longy School of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. SUMMARY:String Department Master Class: Discovering the Artist Within
DESCRIPTION:Violinist and violist Laura Bossert will lead a performance master class for select WCMS students on enhancing artistic expression in their playing. \nA Silver Medalist in the Henryk Szeryng International Violin Competition\,  Bossert is highly sought after as both a performer and a music educator. She has appeared in collaboration with Elmar Oliveira\, Joseph Silverstein\, and others as well as with ensembles including the Muir\, Shanghai\, Invoke\, Hausmann & Lark String Quartets. This season\, she will perform the world premiere of Roberta Sierra’s Near to the End as a guest artist with the Society of New Music (Syracuse\, NY). Bossert is also a longtime faculty member at Wellesley College and the summer Castleman Quartet Program\, as well as Director of the LyricaFest Music Festival.
