DESCRIPTION:For currently enrolled Suzuki Piano and Violin families! \nJoin WCMS Suzuki faculty members for a 1-hour session to review\, refresh\, and reinforce some of the main concepts we learned during your orientation about the Suzuki method. This session will also be a great opportunity to share and discuss tips\, tools\, and helpful techniques to support your child’s at-home practice and learning. DESCRIPTION:An Open Performance Event for Singers with Host\, Norina Rowen \nIf you love Broadway\, come over to WCMS and sing your favorite Broadway hit or join the crowd during our sing-along numbers. All ages and ability levels are welcome! Singers from beginners to seasoned professionals are cordially invited to strut their stuff during this fun event. Solo\, duo\, trio\, or family act? We’re happy to include you. \nPerformers should arrive at 6:30 PM on the day of the event to run through their piece once with an accompanist.\n \nGuidelines for Performers: \n\nYou don’t need to be memorized\, but your selection should be well-prepared.\nBring your sheet music (no lead or lyric sheets) and a hole-punched\, binder-ready copy for one of our accompanists. Your piano music must be in the key in which you plan to sing. No a cappella renditions.\nFamily-friendly lyrics and casual dress—no costumes\, please!\nPerformers should arrive at 6:30 PM on the day of the event to run through their piece once with an accompanist. Please feel free to bring a water bottle.\n\nHost:  Norina Rowen\, soprano and Voice Department Chair \nConsistent with WCMS health guidelines\, please stay home if you or anyone in your group has symptoms of illness. Face masks are welcome\, encouraged\, and optional.

DESCRIPTION:WCMS has a wonderful building full of musical instruments—and once a year\, you can come meet them all! Our annual MusicFest is free and fun for all ages. This musical open house features meet-the-instrument sessions\, instrument demos\, musical storytime\, and a scavenger hunt. Faculty members and current WCMS students will show you what makes each instrument unique and fun. Participate in the scavenger hunt and win a prize! \nFaculty and staff will be available to answer questions about group classes\, ensembles\, and private lessons for kids\, teens\, and adults. We are also holding auditions for ensembles and bands on the same day—online signups are coming soon. \n
