Eurhythmics + Recorder (Ages 6–8)

This class combines learning to play the recorder, a fun and sturdy instrument that fits comfortably in small hands, with  music reading, rhythm, and ear-training through Dalcroze Eurhythmics. In addition to recorder, students will explore other wind instruments—including saxophone, flute, and clarinet— in supportive, hands-on introduction sessions. At the same time, they will improve their sense of rhythm and musicality through lively Eurhythmics activities.

Maximum eight students per section. Materials fee includes a brand new recorder that the student brings to every class and uses for in-home practice. For children ages 6–8 as of 9/1/2019.

Spring semester begins:  February 3, 2020
Note: This program can accept new students until the fourth class of the fall semester. This is a two-semester class; students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.

Tuition per semester: $372 (16 classes)
