Eurhythmics + Wind Instruments (Ages 6-8)
This class is designed to introduce young students to a wide array of woodwind instruments such as saxophone, flute, and clarinet, while learning music reading, rhythm, and ear-training through Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Children will learn the basic skills for wind instruments by playing the recorder, a fun and sturdy instrument that fits comfortably in small hands. At the same time, they will improve their sense of rhythm and musicality through lively Eurhythmics activities.
Every three weeks the students will explore a new wind instrument through a fun and supportive hands-on introduction session. Maximum eight students per section. Materials fee includes a brand new recorder that the student brings to every class and uses for in-home practice. For children ages 6-8 as of 9/1/2018.
