Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Symphony Hall
- Community Event
Join WCMS for a behind-the-scenes tour of America's premier concert hall. Experienced members of the Boston Symphony Association of Volunteers will share the history and traditions of the Boston Symphony Orchestra—its musicians, conductors, and supporters as well as offer information about the Hall. The tour will include the public spaces of Symphony Hall as well as select behind-the-scenes areas.
Sign up in the WCMS office by Saturday, April 13. The cost is $7 per person; meet in the Symphony Hall lobby 15 minutes before the tour. For those interested in staying to see the 8:00 PM performance at Symphony Hall, tickets are on sale at the BSO website. The evening will feature Andris Nelsons, conductor; Daniil Trifonov, piano; and a program of Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich being recorded live for release on Deutsche Grammophon.
Boston Symphony Hall is located at 301 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston.
