A “born performer,” according to my parents, I have been singing, acting, dancing, and directing from a very young age. A native of the Chicagoland area, I spent my childhood soaking up every chance to get on stage that I could find, and was always the first to volunteer for a solo at school or my church. When performance opportunities were lacking, I would create my own—from concerts serenading my family to self-directed variety shows featuring neighborhood friends, staged in our garage.

I continued my pursuit of performing in plays and musicals throughout middle and high school, eventually deciding to make the stage my permanent home and study voice and opera in college and grad school. Since relocating to Boston to earn my Master’s Degree at Boston Conservatory, I have played roles on many stages in and around Boston, with companies such as the Huntington Theatre Company, Longwood Players, and Stage 284.

My background in classical study coupled with a lifelong love of musical theatre has helped to mold me into the well-rounded, passionate, dedicated, and energetic educator and performer that I am today. My instruction focuses on developing the student as a whole—working with breath, posture, confidence, characterization, and artistry. I also incorporate the use of yoga and movement as tools to free the performer in mind and body. I enjoy working with students of all ages, from beginners to those who are career-bound, concentrating on the genres of Broadway, Classical, Jazz and Pop.
