Group Keyboard Classes (for Children & Adults)
Group keyboard classes offer a fun and unique approach to learning music.
For Children:
Not offered in 2020-21. Small classes of four students move together as a group through a graded piano book, covering basic reaching and rhythm skills along with duet and ensemble playing. These classes are well suited if your child enjoys the varied activities a group can offer along with a focused approach to learning the keyboard.
- Class time is divided between reviewing assignments, learning new repertoire, individual time on the keyboard, and musical enrichment activities.
- Students must have a keyboard or piano at home and are expected to spend time during the week on home practice.
- The instructors are happy to help you with placement into the level that is right for your child.
WCMS also offers Eurhythmics + Piano classes that include a Dalcroze Eurhythmics component. If you would like more about these classes, please contact our registrar.
Tuition per semester: $560 (16 online classes)
Note: This is a two-semester class (except as noted below); students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.
