Most group classes are being held in person while a few offerings remain online. We have reduced our class sizes and require masks for all participants (ages 2 and up).  Please visit our COVID-19 page for more information.

Group Keyboard Classes (for Children & Adults)

Group keyboard classes offer a fun and unique approach to learning music.

For Children:

In-person offering for 2021-22. Small classes of four students move together as a group through a graded piano book, covering basic reaching and rhythm skills along with duet and ensemble playing. These classes are well suited if your child enjoys the varied activities a group can offer along with a focused approach to learning the keyboard.

  • Class time is divided between reviewing assignments, learning new repertoire, individual time on the keyboard, and musical enrichment activities.
  • Students must have a keyboard or piano at home and are expected to spend time during the week on home practice.
  • The instructors are happy to help you with placement into the level that is right for your child.

WCMS also offers Eurhythmics + Piano classes that include a Dalcroze Eurhythmics component. If you would like more about these classes, please contact our registrar.

Tuition per semester: $616 (16 classes)

Note: This is a two-semester class; students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.
