Keyboard Mini Masters (Age 5)

Online and remote options for 2021-22. Become a Mini Keyboard Master! This two-semester class combines Dalcroze Eurhythmics instruction, rhythm games, and singing with learning the fundamentals of playing a keyboard. Come make music, have fun, and learn great skills for future music study!

  • Learn the layout of a keyboard

  • Develop coordination between hands

  • Work on fun finger exercises

  • Learn correct posture and correct hand position

  • Learn basic rhythms and meter
  • Master several short songs!

At the end of each semester, the students will share their musical accomplishments with family and friends in a short concert. At-home practice will be expected. Maximum six students per section. For children age 5 as of 9/1/2021.

Students will need to have a 32-key mini keyboard (a Casio SA-46 or similar) for in-person classes. For the remote class, either a mini keyboard or a full-size keyboard/piano can be used.

Note: This program can accept new students until the fourth class of the fall semester. This is a two-semester class; students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.

Tuition per semester: $385 (16 classes - 45 minutes)
