Summer Underground: Rock 101  (Ages 8-12)

There is no more gratifying musical experience than playing in a band, and during the week of June 25 your child will have that very opportunity! Underground faculty member Mike Verge will assemble and coach a group of musicians ages 8-12 and explore the inner workings/dynamics of playing as a unit, improvisation, and songwriting. This band isn't restricted to traditional rock instrumentation. All instruments (brass, strings, and horn) are encouraged! The week will wrap up with a live performance by the band on Friday at the school.

Once your registration has been received and processed, the instructor will contact you to discuss playing experience and goals. If you have any questions, please contact program director Mike Verge.
