October 3, 7:30 pm

"Mixtape" Benefit Concert with Mark Erelli
Local singer-songwriter Mark Erelli performs a selection of his favorite cover songs from 50 years of popular music, including the Grateful Dead, Roy Orbison, Don Henley, and Phil Collins.

October 26, 7:30 pm
Faculty Concert: "SpookFest" with Kaeza Fearn
Our first faculty concert of the 2018-2019 school year. This family-friendly concert will include spooky music by Holst, Liszt, Gounod, Stravinsky, Debussy, Ravel, Chopin and more. Pre-concert refreshments will be served at 7:00 pm.

November 30, 7:30 pm
Faculty Concert: "Night at the Movies" with Jonathan Fagan
Our second faculty concert of the 2018-2019 school year. The program will include jazz interpretations of popular movie music, including songs from Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Greatest Showman, and more. Pre-concert refreshments will be served at 7:00 pm.

December 2, 3:00 pm
Concert for Kids! "Pictures at an Exhibition"
The fall installment of our popular children's music concerts, featuring composer Modest Mussorgsky's famous musical interpretation of 10 different paintings at an art exhibit.

January 18, 7:30 pm
Contemporary Commercial Music: A Voice Department Recital
Students from the voice department will perform songs from pop genres in a karaoke-style recital.

February 1, 7:30 pm
Faculty Concert: "An Evening of Horn" with John Michael Adair
Our third faculty concert of the 2018-2019 school year. The program will include works for solo French horn as well as chamber music featuring French horn. Pre-concert refreshments will be served at 7:00 pm.

Beat of Life
Our percussion ensembles perform a lively program of percussion repertoire on a variety of instruments.

March 9, 3:30 pm
Voice Department Honors Concert
Students from the voice department perform for family, friends, and the public.

March 10, 3:00 pm
Concert for Kids! "Three Little Pigs & Barbar the Elephant"
The spring installment of our popular children's music concerts. The program will include two delightful stories set to music, with narration and interpretive dance.

March 22, 7:00 pm
Carter Alan Lecture and Concert
Longtime Boston DJ and music producer Carter Alan (of rock stations WBCN and WZLX) discusses his recent book The Decible Diaries. Selected music from the concerts described in the book will be performed by WCMS faculty and students.

March 30, 7:30 pm
Two Piano Concert at M. Steinert & Sons
An evening of two-piano and four-hand piano music performed by WCMS students at Steinert's newest location in South Boston.

April 5, 7:00 pm
Woodwinds, Brass & Percussion Honors Concert
Students from the woodwinds, brass & percussion department perform for family, friends, and the public.

April 12, 7:30 pm
Faculty Concert: "Songs of the Other" with Sylvie Zakarian
Our fourth and final faculty concert of the 2018-2019 school year. The program will include world music by Gomidas, Hovhaness, Grover, Paliev, and Radan. Pre-concert refreshments will be served at 7:00 pm

The Vocal Factor
A singing competition for youth and teens, featuring music industry judges and special prizes.

May 11, 5:00 pm & 6:30 pm
Piano Honors Concerts
Students from the piano department perform for family, friends, and the public.
