Group Classes

Learn in a Supportive Group Environment

Group classes at WCMS are the perfect place to try a new instrument or learn something new about music. We have options for all ages, from toddlers through seniors. Group classes provide a supportive and stimulating group environment that combines the benefits of music instruction and social interaction in a group setting.

Ensembles

Options for a Wide Range of Ages, Interests, and Ability Levels

Whether you’re ready to expand on the skills learned in private lessons, or you simply want to have fun playing with others, ensembles are a great way to meet that goal. WCMS offers ensembles in a variety of genres, for a range of ages and ability levels.

Suzuki Program

“Musical Ability is Not an Inborn Talent, but an Ability Which can be Developed…”

First created over 50 years ago, the Suzuki approach combines music learning with a philosophy that embraces the development of the whole child. This method enables young children to learn to play an instrument as naturally as they learn to speak through listening, a nurturing environment, and active parent participation.

Summer Music

Summer Lessons and Group Programs

Summer is the perfect time for all ages to try out a new instrument, participate in an in-depth program, or join an ensemble.

Music Therapy

Healing Through the Power of Music

Music Therapy is an established health profession that uses music to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of children, youth, and adults. Music therapy can help a variety of conditions such as mental illness, physical disabilities, sensor motor impairments, and emotional or behavioral problems to facilitate relaxation and stress reduction, to manage pain, or learn other developmental skills.
