Encore Volunteer!

Many hands make light work and beautiful music! Whether you have an hour to bake cookies, a morning to stuff envelopes for a mailing, or an afternoon to ensure that a special event runs smoothly, WCMS can use your help. We need many talents, and every contribution helps us achieve our mission.

As a volunteer, you automatically become a member of the WCMS Encore Volunteer group, which includes individuals of all ages who are willing to lend a hand in ways small or large (you decide!) with special events and performances. Encore provides a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, students, and supporters of WCMS, all working together toward a common goal.

We periodically send out emails to ask for help with specific events, and volunteers can choose the exact time slot and task that suits them via SignUp Genius. You can pick a specific task by simply adding your name to the list, or create a SignUp Genius account to receive email reminders as the event approaches. Choose a one-time job, or opt to help us with a variety of events throughout the year.

MusicFest Open House, September 8, 2024: This fun-filled family event features meet-the-instrument sessions, instrument demos, a scavenger hunt, and more. Come join the fun as we welcome the public to explore our building and interact with all kinds of instruments! Sign up online for a time slot.
