Capital Campaign

WCMS is SoundBreaking! You can help steward the music from this generation to the next by making a gift to our capital campaign. We are mapping out our future in programming, community interaction, and outstanding performances, to build on the school’s successful legacy.

Our SoundBreaking capital campaign includes:

• A new and larger Performance Hall that will enhance our dynamic concert experiences and make audiences and artists feel even more welcome.
• A new Recording and Technology Lab for professional-level recording and for student instruction in music technology, software, equipment, and production techniques.
• A dedicated ensemble studio for students to learn valuable collaboration skills to stretch their musical ability.
• A custom and dedicated percussion studio built with acoustical treatment and ample storage, especially for our larger percussion instruments.
• Renovations and teaching studio reconfigurations throughout our current Home for Music for our growing Suzuki program and group classes.
• Accessibility and safety enhancements to help our music therapy program flourish with adaptive equipment and furniture. A new elevator will make all three levels of WCMS accessible to anyone with mobility needs.

Endowed Gifts

The WCMS endowment provides an important resource for a financially stable future for the school. It also funds a maintenance reserve to keep our Home for Music beautiful and our technology up to date. Commemorative opportunities are available for individuals or may be shared by two or more donors. Memorial gifts can also be added to the endowment.
