Calling all bluegrass & old-time music enthusiasts!
The Bluegrass Ensemble consists of a rhythm section—including upright bass and acoustic guitar—and at least one of the following instruments: mandolin, fiddle, banjo, dobro, or voice. All levels are welcome, from advanced beginner to seasoned player.
Throughout the semester, students are coached weekly and learn new music in the bluegrass genre, while also developing improvisation skills. Students will be encouraged to take solos on their instruments and sing!
The final class of each semester consists of a warm-up rehearsal and performance.

Auditions Requirements: Please prepare 1 piece of your choice to perform, and bring a recording of that piece on a mobile device (iPod, phone, iPad etc.).
