Registration for Spring Group Classes opens December 1
Aiden Schnell grew up un southwest Michigan playing old-time and folk music, and spent much of his time studying banjo (bluegrass & clawhammer), mandolin, guitar, and vocal performance.
Aiden has been performing ever since he was a child. He and his father played music together as a duo for many years, and together have played for noteworthy venues and audiences such as the Country Western Dance Hall of Fame and the Young Talent Showcase presented by River Song, as well as numerous regionally historic protests and marches.
He has also been involved in a number of community bands and professional projects including the Water Street Wranglers, who have played at theaters, festivals, and breweries throughout the midwest.
Aiden is currently finishing up his degree at Berklee College of Music, where he has refined his flat-picking skills and studied jazz, which he cleverly weaves into his bluegrass playing.
“Guitar wunderkind Aiden Schnell’s playing is like Appalachian alchemy. In fact, I would not be surprised if you told me he has a dragon.”
—Legendary guitarist/Berklee professor, Bobby Stanton
