Music MAYnia 2024!

Sunday, May 5, 1:00-5:00 PM

What is Music MAYnia?

Music MAYnia is an annual music performathon and community festival. Held on the first Sunday in May, Music MAYnia is free and open to the public and features live music, games & activities, food trucks, and more. Student performers of all ages and abilities perform live continuous music (ranging from classical to rock) on four stages. It’s a popular music festival that many community members attend—and look forward to—every year.

For Students:

  • The performer schedule is here! Thank you to everyone who has signed up to perform. As always, you are the ones who make this event a-MAY-zing!
  • The Music MAYnia t-shirt this year is YELLOW! T-shirts will be available to pick up starting Monday, April 29 in the front office, or at the check-in tent on the day of MAYnia. Please wear your t-shirt at MAYnia! (If you pick up your t-shirt ahead of time, you do not need to stop at the check-in tent.)
  • We encourage all participants to ride the free shuttle bus (with live music!) from designated satellite parking. The bus will run from 12:00 – 6:00 PM in a continuous short loop between the Jenks Center, the Winchester Rec. Center, and WCMS. Look for the shuttle stop sign at each location.

For Volunteers:

  • Please join us as a volunteer! We rely on dozens of generous people who do everything from setting up chairs to greeting visitors to running activities. As a volunteer, you’ll be at the center of this fun-filled community event and will receive free lunch and a MAYnia t-shirt!

For Family, Friends & Visitors:

  • Save the date on your calendar!
  • Help us get the word out by putting a lawn sign in your yard; stop by the front office to pick one up.
  • A full schedule of events will be posted as soon as it is available.
    • Percussion Demos: 1:15, 2:15, and 3:15 PM in Studio 15 (lower level)
    • Brass Instrument Demos: 1:45, 2:45, and 3:45 PM in Studio 16 (lower level)
  • We encourage all visitors to ride the free shuttle bus (with live music!) from designated satellite parking. The bus will run from 12:00 – 6:00 PM in a continuous short loop between the Jenks Center, the Winchester Rec. Center, and WCMS. Look for the shuttle stop sign at each location.

For Community Partners and Sponsors:

  • The success of Music MAYnia is due in part to the generous support of numerous businesses in our community. If your business would like to support Music MAYnia through a corporate sponsorship or in-kind donation, please contact An-Chian Kao, Development Assistant, for more information or call 781-721-2950.
