Group Keyboard

Group Keyboard Class (Ages 6-9)

Group keyboard classes offer a fun and unique approach to learning music. Small classes of up to six students move together as a group through a graded piano book, covering basic reading and rhythm skills along with duet and ensemble playing. These classes are well suited if your child enjoys the varied activities a group can offer along with a focused approach to learning the keyboard.

• Class time is divided between reviewing assignments, learning new repertoire, individual time on the keyboard, and musical enrichment activities.
• Students must have a keyboard or piano at home and are expected to spend time during the week on home practice.

Note: This is a two-semester class; students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.
