Eurhythmics + Piano

Eurhythmics + Piano (Ages 6-9)

In this class, your child experiences Dalcroze Eurhythmics activities that will enhance their piano playing. By learning to play simple songs, students are introduced to basic rhythmic notation and to the musical grand staff.

This course is recommended for students who have taken a Eurhythmics + Melodica class or by permission of the instructor. Access to a piano or electric keyboard is necessary. Homework is expected; parents are invited to participate in developing practice habits. Maximum of four students per section.

Level 1: For ages 6-8 as of 9/1/2025
Level 2: For ages 7-9 as of 9/1/2025

Note: The Level 1 class can accept new students until the fourth class of fall semester; please contact the registrar for availability. This is a two-semester class; students enroll in the fall and are automatically re-enrolled for spring.
