Do you dream of improving your sight-reading skills? Do you want to feel stronger and more confident at your auditions? Do you aspire to learn music faster and more efficiently? Then this workshop is for you!
In this 90-minute power session, WCMS teaching artist Dan Teager (trumpet) will work with students on multiple sight-reading techniques. You will decipher sight-reading patterns and rhythms without instruments, practice melodic reading examples with instruments, test samples from sightreadingfactory.com to prepare for upcoming auditions, and much more!
All woodwind, brass, & percussion students from Grade 6 through Adult Learners are welcome. Please bring your instrument. Ideal for anyone participating in the upcoming MMEA Senior or Junior District Auditions!
Advance registration is required.
