I began my musical journey at the age of five with the piano. Driven by a passion for piano education and performance, I moved to the United States to pursue a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Ball State University in Indiana. With over 15 years of teaching experience across the U.S. and Taiwan, I have guided students ranging from young beginners to late-intermediate teenagers and adults. Dedicated to lifelong learning, I actively participate in professional development through organizations such as the New England Conservatory, MTNA, NAfME, and the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy. I am currently furthering my studies with a second master’s degree in music education at UMass Amherst.
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my students’ smiles, curiosity, and genuine love for music. My goal is to share this passion with every student and integrate music into their families’ daily lives. I strive to foster a positive, engaging, and supportive studio environment where students feel comfortable exploring their full potential.
Through structured individual lessons and group keyboard classes, I help students build a solid technical foundation, develop performance confidence, and discover their artistic identity and teamwork skills. I empower students to think both imaginatively and critically, enabling them to confidently express themselves through the piano. My curriculum incorporates a diverse selection of musical styles, eras, and cultures, alongside techniques, functional keyboard skills, creative music-making, and interactive musical games.
