Dahee Park is a concert pianist from South Korea, actively performing both solo and chamber music in the Boston area. Known for her vibrant artistry and collaborative spirit, she has performed in diverse settings around the world. During her time in New York, she was an active chamber musician, including participating in “An Evening with Steven Isserlis,” a concert hosted by the Violoncello Society, Inc. of New York. In South Korea, she contributed to community outreach by performing in the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra’s outreach concert series, bringing classical music to underserved audiences.
She has earned several prestigious accolades, including winning the Artur Balsam Duo Competition at the Manhattan School of Music. Later, she won the Boston University at Carnegie Hall Competition, which led to a performance at the iconic Carnegie Hall.
In addition to her career as a performer, Dahee Park is a dedicated educator and collaborative pianist. She previously served as a piano faculty member at Sunhwa Art School in South Korea and currently serves on the faculty at Winchester Community Music School, where she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
As an Instrumental Staff Pianist at both Boston University and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, she collaborates closely with students from around the world, coaching chamber music and ensemble performance while participating in a wide range of performances each year. Every summer, she also serves as a collaborative pianist for the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) String Workshops, where she values the privilege of working with exceptional young musicians in the inspiring artistic environment of Tanglewood.
Dahee Park earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Yonsei University as a scholarship student. She earned another Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano from the Manhattan School of Music and completed her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano at Boston University.
Outside of music, Dahee enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons in Winchester. As a family, they love traveling together and creating meaningful memories through shared adventures.
