For Fall 2021, most group classes will be held in-person while a few offerings remain online. For in-person classes we are decreasing class size, using larger rooms with ample air exchange and filtering, and requiring masks for all participants (ages 2 and up).  Please visit our COVID-19 page for more information.

Musical Beginnings (Age 4)

In-person offering in 2021-22.

Musical Beginnings is a fun, interactive class in which students move, clap, sing, and dance—wonderful activities that help develop coordination, language, and listening skills. The world of music is explored through songs, movement, stories, games, and age-appropriate instruments.

Using the techniques and principles of Dalcroze Eurhythmics, children are immersed in a multi-dimensional approach to learning. Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes are high-energy, engaging, and fun! Through active listening, singing, and integrated movement, students are introduced to rhythm, patterns, melodic line, and musical form. This class will provide children with a solid musical foundation that will help them excel in their future endeavors with singing, dancing, and playing instruments.

Maximum of 6 students per section. For children 4 years old as of 9/1/2021.

Note: This program can accept new students until the fourth class of the semester. Tuition will be prorated. Fall semester students can continue into spring; each semester will offer new activities. New students can also join in spring.

Tuition per semester:  $372 (16 classes - 45 minutes)
