Musical Beginnings (Age 4)

Musical Beginnings is a fun, interactive class in which students move, clap, sing, and dance—wonderful activities that help develop coordination, language, and listening skills. The world of music is explored through songs, movement, stories, games, and age-appropriate instruments.

Using the techniques and principles of Dalcroze Eurhythmics, children are immersed in a multi-dimensional approach to learning. Dalcroze Eurhythmics classes are high-energy, engaging, and fun! Through active listening, singing, and integrated movement, students are introduced to rhythm, patterns, melodic line, and musical form. This class will provide children with a solid musical foundation that will help them excel in their future endeavors with singing, dancing, and playing instruments.
