Summer Health Protocols

WCMS looks forward to resuming in-person group programming this summer, as well as continuing our in-person and remote options for private lessons. For the latest information, please visit our COVID-19 information page.

Summer Lessons

New and continuing students of all ages can enroll in summer private lessons during June, July, and August. It's a wonderful time to keep your skills in shape for the fall, take up a new instrument, or try out a new style of playing. Lessons will be offered in-person or online based on student and teacher preference, instrument being played, and current health guidelines.

Our program is flexible to accommodate your summer schedule. Enroll in as many or as few lessons as you like, depending on your needs and teacher availability.

Please note: To inquire about teacher schedules and instruments being taught this summer, please submit a private lesson inquiry form and enter "summer" as the time period to be added to the interest list. Our registrar will follow up with you to answer any questions and to schedule your lessons.

COVID Contingency for In-Person Summer Programs:  We ask that all participants and faculty continue to practice good public health measures outside of WCMS to help us continue providing safe in-person instruction. In the event of a positive COVID test result among participants or faculty during a summer program, the program will move online for the remainder of the session. In the event that any participant has to quarantine due to a positive COVID test result or exposure within two weeks before the start of the program, that student will not be able to participate in the program. In this instance, a refund or credit may be granted if medical documentation is sent to the WCMS office.
