Ways to Give
There are many ways to make your gift to WCMS, and we are here to assist you in figuring out which approach is best suited to your needs.
Give a secure online gift
It's easy to make a secure gift online on our website.
Mail a check or money order (payable to WCMS) to Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Avenue, Winchester, MA 01890.
Matching Gifts
You can effectively increase your gift to WCMS through a matching gifts program. Many companies offer their employees (and even retirees and/or spouses) a matching gift benefit that in effect doubles (or in some cases even triples) your gift to WCMS. If you can take advantage of a Matching Gift Program through your company or have questions for us, please email Laurie Russell, Executive Director, or call 781-721-2950.
Transfer stock
WCMS welcomes gifts of stock. To make a gift of stock that is currently held in a brokerage account, the easiest way to proceed is to instruct your broker to transfer the shares to WCMS's brokerage account. Your broker will probably require written authorization from you before transferring the stock. Please call us at 781-721-2950 for stock delivery instructions. Please ask that your broker include your name as the donor when processing your gift so that we can promptly acknowledge receipt of your gift. It is important that WCMS is made aware of the transfer when it takes place.

Capital or Endowed Gifts
The WCMS Endowment provides an important resource for a financially stable future for the School. It also funds a maintenance reserve to keep our Home for Music beautiful and our technology up to date. Commemorative opportunities may be shared by two or more donors. Memorial gifts can also be added to the Endowment. For information on making a capital or endowed gift, please email Laurie Russell, Executive Director, or call 781-721-2950.
